Praia da Rocha is one of the most well-known beaches and resort towns in Portugal. It is located on the Algarve coast in the town of Portimão, about an hour's drive from the Faro Airport. Praia da Rocha is the quintessential European beach vacation destination: while it does not boast a lot of traditional Portuguese history and culture, it offers an exciting and bustling atmosphere, especially during the summer, with plenty of water activities, impressive golden cliffs, nightlife, and plenty of good food to enjoy.

Afro Break is a week long schedule of boat, brunch, pool and after parties organised around the Afro Nation Portugal festival
1 – 7 July 2026. The first Afro Break Portugal event starts on Wednesday, 1 July. The last Afro Break Portugal event is on Tuesday, 7 July.
Afro Break Portugal is an 18+ event, ID is required to ensure entry and to purchase alcohol.
Our DJ’s play an eclectic mix of Afrobeats, Afro House Amapiano, Shatta, Bouyon, Dancehall, Soca, Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, and more!
Most events happen in venues in the Portimão area.

Tickets are exchanged for wristbands. Wristbands give you access to Afro Break Portugal parties such as the pool parties, day parties, after-parties and more, depending on your ticket.
All food and drink are purchased separately.
The Golden All Access pass grants you entry to all our pool parties, day parties, and after-parties from Wednesday 1st - Tuesday 7th July, including premium events such as the Soft Life Beach Party, White Soiree Day Party & After Party, Grand Opening Ceremony, and Afro Splash Waterpark Fête.
In addition, it gives you access to 1x boat party and 1x bottomless brunch experience. It is the total package!

The VIP Weekend pass grants you entry to all our pool parties, day parties, and after-parties from Friday, 3rd - Sunday, 5th July ONLY.

Yes, pay a £50 / 60€ deposit and the remaining amount in monthly manageable instalments.
Yes, you’ll need to set up an account to grab your Afro Break Portugal tickets online.
Yes, there’s a 10% booking fee added at checkout.
Yes, nominate the lead booker and make sure to enter all ticket holder details when you book.

For smooth sailing into Afro Break Portugal, don’t forget:
- Your printed ticket or e-ticket
- A valid photo ID (make sure the name on your e-ticket matches your ID)
Tickets to Afro Break Portugal only include the name and date of the event. For a specific time and location, CLICK HERE.
All QR codes will be sent one week before the start of Afro Break Portgual 2025. If you still haven’t received your QR code one week before, CLICK HERE and access your account to make sure you have entered the correct email.
Tickets are non-refundable. You can cancel your booking at any time, but any payments already made will not be refunded.
If you have booking protection with XCover, you may be eligible for a refund by successfully submitting a claim.
Yes, there will be a £10/12€ fee for each ticket exchanged/transferred.
All tickets must be transferred or exchanged by 30 June. Tickets cannot be transferred after.
Golden and VIP passes can only be purchased online. Individual party tickets can be purchased at the entry if they are not sold out! Please be aware that tickets at the door will be more expensive
